Join in the fun and enter our SCANDIHOOVIAN RED HAT DECORATING CONTEST.
In Norway and Denmark, pointy red hats are worn by the Nisse...in Sweden they are worn by the Tomte...and in Mount Horeb, they are worn by EVERYONE to celebrate the SCANDIHOOVIAN WINTER FEST, held February 9–11!
Decorate your Red Hat in any style you’d like. Bring it to the Mount Horeb Public Library between now and Thursday, February 8 at 4 pm. The hats will be on display for everyone to enjoy! One winner will be selected from each age group.
WINNERS WILL BE POSTED AT THE LIBRARY ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10 AT 9 AM. Artists need not be present to win (but it’s more fun if you are!) Winners will have their photos in the Mount Horeb Mail and receive a prize!
