Join special guest and local musician Corey Hart for a fun and interactive musical program for young children and their families. Come and join in on the fun, sing songs, and play along!
Join in the fun and enter our SCANDIHOOVIAN RED HAT DECORATING CONTEST.
In Norway and Denmark, pointy red hats are worn by the Nisse...in Sweden they are worn by the Tomte...and in Mount Horeb, they are worn by EVERYONE to celebrate the SCANDIHOOVIAN WINTER FEST, held February 7-9!
Decorate your Red Hat in any style you’d like. Bring it to the Mount Horeb Public Library between January 16 and Thursday, February 6 at 4 pm. The hats will be on display for everyone to enjoy! With four age categories (3-6, 7-10, 11-17, 18+) the entire family can participate! Prizes in each category. Need extra coloring sheets? Stop in the library. Complete rules listed on the coloring sheet.
WINNERS WILL BE POSTED AT THE LIBRARY ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 8 AT 9 AM. Artists need not be present to win (but it’s more fun if you are!) Winners will have their photos in the Mount Horeb Mail and receive a prize!
