A community discussion with UW professors:

  • Mark Copelovitch, Professor of Political Science & Public Affairs. Copelovitch studies international political economy and international organizations, with a focus on the politics of international trade, international finance, the International Monetary Fund, and European integration.
     
  • Andrew Kydd, Professor of Political Science  Kydd's research focuses on armed conflict, conflict resolution, foreign policy, genocide and political Violence.
     
  • Yoshiko Herrera, Professor of Political Science/International Relations. Herrera's research interests include politics in Russia and Eurasia, social identities (Nationalism, ethnicity, xenophobia, trust, diversity), US-Russian relations, international norms, and political economy.
     
  • Jon Pevehouse, Professor of International Relations.Pevehouse's research focuses on regional trade agreements, human rights institutions, exchange rate politics, and international organizations. 

Foreign relations and US Policy are changing at a rapid pace. Join us to ask questions, and gain a better understanding of some of the hottest topics right now, including causes of Ukraine war & impediments to peace, what the costs of tariffs are and who will pay, how US foreign aid works, what is needed for US fight against terrorism, what is happening in Gaza, etc. This non-partisan discussion will feature professors from UW-Madison sharing their knowledge, with plenty of time for your questions.
