This heavenly concoction starts with a fudgey brownie crust and is piled high with fluffy dark chocolate cheesecake. A silky smooth dessert that will have you praying for more!
Crust: (Ingredients)
Directions:
In a medium saucepan melt butter and chocolate together. Remove from heat and stir in sugar. Add egg and vanilla, beat well. Stir in flour. Pour batter into a generously greased 9" springform pan. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
Cheesecake: (Ingredients)
Directions:
Beat cream cheese and sour cream together. Add syrup and sugar, beat very well. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Beat in cocoa powder. Carefully spoon over the semi-baked crst. Bake at 350 for 50 to 55 minutes until top is set and doesn't wiggle. Cool in oven with door closed 30 minutes. Open door and allow cake to cool another 30 minutes. Remove and cool for 1 hour, then refrigerate several hours or overnight. Garnish with melted white and dark chocolate and top with whipped cream.
